WWE News: Bullet Club invade Raw in Los Angeles
What the story?
Monday Night Raw is in Los Angeles tonight at the same location No Mercy took place on the previous night. Whenever Raw is coming from LA you never know who will show up. Now it looks like a very unexpected group of visitors decided to stop by in the form of the Bullet Club.
In case you didn't know...
The Bullet Club isn't just one of the most popular t-shirts at Hot Topic. They're an incredible stable of pro wrestlers originating in New Japan Pro Wrestling. While they might call NJPW their home the members of the Bullet Club are free to travel the world's independent scene as well.
They happened to be in Los Angeles and it looked like they wanted to see some wrestling matches. The crowd outside the Staples Center was plenty glad to see them too.
The heart of the matter
The Young Bucks, Cody, Brandi Rhodes, and Marty Scurll surprised fans waiting outside the Staples Center on Monday while they waited for Raw to begin.
As you can see by the pictures there was no shortage of Bullet Club merchandise in the audience waiting to witness a WWE television taping. Marty Scrull said they're going to invade Raw tonight and it looked like they were starting it off by having a great time.
Whether they make it to television or not is beside the point because this is still a very cool thing for the Bullet Club to do. It also gives a very clear indication of their popularity.
What's next?
In all reality, the Bullet Club probably won't appear on Raw tonight. But it's still very cool they dropped by.
Author's take
This move is incredibly reminiscent of something DX did a very long time ago. The Bullet Club didn't show up on a tank but instead opted for an incredibly impressive stretch limousine.
