WWE News: Charlotte reacts on her SmackDown Title win against Asuka
What's the story?
Charlotte Flair defeated Asuka on tonight's SmackDown to win the SmackDown Women's Title.
In a WWE.com exclusive video, Charlotte shared her views on this shocking win.
In case you didn't know...
Charlotte Flair is set to face off against Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35's headline match for the Raw Women's Title.
The trio has been involved in a major storyline heading towards Mania, with all three women targeting each other throughout the build-up.
It should be noted that Charlotte was handed down the opportunity at WrestleMania, by Vince McMahon on an episode of Raw last month. Tonight on SmackDown Live, we got a last minute announcement as Charlotte took on Asuka for the SmackDown Women's Title.
In a shocker, the WrestleMania headliner went on to make Asuka tap out, just like she did last year at WrestleMania 34. Charlotte's win sent the wrestling world into a frenzy and the WrestleMania triple threat match has now gotten even bigger with two champions coming in, although the SmackDown Women's Title isn't up for grabs!
The heart of the matter
In an exclusive backstage video, Charlotte shared her views on this huge win, heading into her match at WrestleMania.
What's next?
The WrestleMania headliner pitting Charlotte, Becky, and Ronda has just gotten bigger and better, with The Queen bagging the blue brand's Women's Title just days before her big match at Mania.
There's still no sign of a reason as to why this last minute decision was made. Maybe it was done to make Becky look even stronger in her possible eventual win at WrestleMania when she pins Charlotte or makes The Queen tap out to the Dis-Arm-Her.
