WWE News: Chris Jericho explains why we might never see a Superstar like him again
What's the story?
All Elite Wrestling Superstar Chris Jericho recently sat down for an interview with Inquisitr, and talked in depth on a wide variety of topics.
When asked who could be the next Chris Jericho, the former WWE Superstar stated that there's a slim chance of anyone becoming a newer version of him.
In case you didn't know...
Chris Jericho is on a roll at the moment. He signed a contract with AEW earlier this year, claiming that this was the best contract he had ever signed. He's all set for his next Jericho cruise, and will be a part of AEW's first show, "Double Or Nothing".
The heart of the matter
While talking to Inquisitr, the charismatic Superstar was asked whether he sees anyone becoming the next Chris Jericho, with the wrestling industry booming with a barrage of talent.
Jericho stated that it took him twenty long years to become what he is at present, adding that it's up to the person whether he wants to work his way towards becoming the modern era's Chris Jericho. He also said that aside from having a good physique, one needs to have the x-factor that could draw people's attention.
The Lionheart further stated that there might never be anyone like him.
I have been constantly evolving from my side. You have to be willing to take a chance, and I don’t know — there are a lot of guys who are very talented on our roster. Who will be around for a 30-year career, and evolving and constantly changing? It’s hard to say with this business if there could be another Chris Jericho, and not just from an ego standpoint.
What's next?
Longtime fans of Chris Jericho are in for a treat, as Y2J is guaranteed to grace their TV screens for a long while to come, thanks to his AEW contract.
Do you agree with Jericho? Who do you think can become the next Chris Jericho?
