From the WWE Rumor Mill: Christy St. Cloud released from her NXT contract
What’s the story?
Over the course of the past few weeks, we have seen several WWE NXT superstars got released from their WWE contracts and following a recent report from Squared Circle Sirens, another name has now been added to the unfortunate list of releases, as NXT’s backstage interviewer Christy St. Cloud has been released from her contract with the company.
In case you didn’t know…
Christy St. Cloud aka Christy Olson started as an intern for the American TV show E True Hollywood Story and shortly afterwards, became an executive producer. Christy, who spent two and a half years with the show, has also previously worked for AfterBuzz TV, where she had the chance of reporting the current on-goings in the sports-entertainment world and also had the opportunity of interacting with various legends of the industry.
In the past, Christy has also worked alongside WWE veteran X-Pac and former WWE ring announcer Lillian Garcia and helped them both to produce and co-host their podcasts.
The heart of the matter
Christy St. Cloud made her WWE debut in April of last year and ever since stepping foot into the NXT Universe, St. Cloud has played a hands-on role as the backstage interviewer of the company.
However, as recently noted, WWE has seemingly removed Christy St. Cloud from their official website and the former West Coast Wrestling Connection ring announcer has also changed all her social media handles to indicate that she is back to Christy Reports.
What’s next?
As of right now, we are still not sure if Christy St. Cloud will stick to the pro wrestling industry or will make an immediate return to Hollywood, where she has had a lot of experience.
However, if you wish to keep track of the daily updates regarding St. Cloud, then you can follow her at @CHRISTYreports on Twitter and could subscribe to her YouTube channel as well.
Author’s Take
Seeing someone getting released or fired from their job is always depressing and Christy St. Cloud, in my opinion, was one of the best interviewers WWE had in their ranks and we wish her all the best for the future.
