WWE/MMA News: Conor McGregor speaks out about "P*ssy" comments
UFC Superstar Conor McGregor made his bones by being outspoken to the point of brash, and by completely disregarding the boundaries that should, ideally, draw a line for trash talk or banter.
And that was typically on display this past Friday when, during the UFC 202 conference call, he referred to pro-wrestlers as “p*ussies”. This has rekindled the whole ‘real’ fighting versus ‘fake’ pro-wrestling debate as many fans aren’t pleased with McGregor’s condescending comments.
And perhaps due to the backlash, the Irishman was moved to follow-up his disparaging comments on Twitter; only, if his reply was meant to be reconciliatory in nature, it hardly conveyed the message.
I didn't mean no disrespect to the @wwe fans. What I meant to say was that I'd slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sunday's.

Although he began on an apologetic note, it is clear that McGregor isn't one to back down from his initial contention, and he minced no words in explaining exactly why. And as so many great personalities are, he continues to be a highly polarizing figure.
His acerbic wit and sharp tongue may have earned him the ire of many pro-wrestling fans, but Conor McGregor clearly isn’t fazed by it and continues to pour fuel onto the fire.
