Ambrose is set to leave the WWE in April, and we've learnt who The Shield could possibly face for the last time in the WWE.
In case you didn't know...
Earlier this year, WWE announced in a statement that Dean Ambrose was to leave the promotion in April, after WrestleMania 35.
Ambrose was reportedly unhappy with his character and will leave the company after a successful run, where he won the World Championship, as well as other titles.
The Shield broke up on the night that Roman Reigns announced that he was diagnosed with leukaemia last year, after Ambrose attacked Seth Rollins, turning heel.
The heart of the matter
WWE are currently advertising a match between The Shield, and the team of Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Baron Corbin for the April 22, 2019 episode of RAW, at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa.
This perhaps means that The Shield will be together for WrestleMania 35, where Seth Rollins faces Brock Lesnar for the Universal title.
Ambrose is also being advertised for the April 29, 2019, RAW show, which could be his very last appearance in the WWE.
