WWE News: Diamond Dallas Page praises Drew McIntyre in a big way
What's the story?
Earlier this morning, WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page took to social media in order to praise Monday Night Raw's newest Superstar Drew McIntyre, who DDP believes is destined to be one of the greatest stars of this generation in the Pro Wrestling industry.
In case you didn't know...
After being on the shelf for almost a total of nine months following a devastating bicep injury (which McIntyre seemingly suffered at TakeOver: WarGames), the former WWE Intercontinental Champion made his debut on the main roster during the 2018 WWE Superstar Shake-up.
On his first night on the main roster, Drew McIntyre didn't waste any time in making an impact as he along with former World Champion Dolph Ziggler attacked the duo of Apollo Crews and Titus O’Neil on the very first night of this year's Superstar Shake-up.
The heart of the matter
WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page recently took to his official Twitter handle and stated that within the next few years in the WWE, former NXT Champion Drew McIntyre is certainly going to reach a new level of greatness, now that the Scotsman has received a second opportunity with the WWE.
According to DDP, he thinks that within the next few years, McIntyre is seemingly going to prove himself to be one of the most standout performers in the WWE and might just well turn out to be one of the biggest stars to ever step foot into Vince McMahon's promotion.
What's next?
Drew McIntyre is currently performing under the red brand of Monday Night Raw where he is currently working in a tag team alongside 'The Showoff' Dolph Ziggler and the duo has been on a dominating run on the red brand so far.
Author's Take
Being 6 ft 5 inch in height, Drew McIntyre certainly has the intensity within himself and I personally think that the former NXT Champion is destined for greatness in his second run with the WWE.
