WWE News: Did the Young Bucks extend a Bullet Club invite to Neville?

The King of the Cruiserweights is NOT happy
The King of the Cruiserweights is NOT happy

What's the story?

The Bullet Club is probably the most popular thing in wrestling -- internationally, anyway -- WWE or otherwise. A lot of that has to do with the group keeping fresh faces coming in whenever members move on from the group.

Now, it looks like, once again, the group is attempting to recruit another International superstar to their ranks.

In case you didn't know...

While nothing is official yet, it's looking like former Cruiserweight champion Neville is looking to get out of the WWE. While it appears that the King of the Cruiserweights has asked for his release.

According to reports, Neville was supposed to take on then-champion Enzo Amore in the Lumberjack match on Raw, but walked out - which prompted WWE officials to put Kalisto in the match against Amore.

The heart of the matter

Assuming WWE can't work anything out with him and actually grants him his release, chances are that he'll probably head to Europe or Japan. Which prompted the Bucks (specifically Matt Jackson) to post this:

What's next?

Now, the Bucks -- or the rest of the Bullet Club, for that matter -- have certainly not been shy when it comes to recruiting new members, whether or not they're actually "free agents" or not.

As to whether or not Neville actually takes them up on their offer depends on if he's actually given the green light to leave WWE or not.

Author's take

I like the Bullet Club as much as the next guy, and Neville would certainly be a good fit. But, if WWE is really looking to keep the Cruiserweight Division a priority at this point, well... then WWE needs Neville more than Neville needs WWE.

Chances are, whatever the reasons Neville wants out of WWE are -- and assuming it's something WWE is in a position to provide -- there's a good chance the company is going to go out of their way to make him happy. Just not too out of their way.

If Neville is unhappy with his position in the division, a promise to move him up to an Intercontinental title run, or a chance to run with his current heel persona on a more prominent part of the show, could do the trick.
