WWE News: Dolph Ziggler explains why it's hard to build a relationship with Vince McMahon
Dolph Ziggler hasn’t been at the top of the WWE mountain for a while now but he is still one of the bigger stars on SmackDown Live and is the current WWE Intercontinental Champion.
The ‘Showoff’ recently had an interview with Sky Sports where he discussed the process of developing working relations with the boss, Vince McMahon. Ziggler in fact admitted that Vince was a busy man and was hard to forge relations with.

During the course of the interview, Ziggler revealed that he was always told to develop a relationship with Vince McMahon.
Ziggler pointed out that getting close to Vince was easier said than done. Ziggler gave details on Vince’s backstage schedule saying that Vince would always occupy himself with work such as getting the shows ready for live audiences and working with creative. He said:
“The one or two days a week you would see him he is extremely busy getting the shows ready for the live audience, so if you find two or three minutes you’d better have something good to say as he is a workaholic and you are eating into his time.”
Ziggler communicated his own views saying that the WWE Chairman seemed scary at first but warmed up to him as they talked over time. Ziggler claimed that Vince was a hard man to please but he would trust his superstars more as they continued to prove their mettle inside the ring.
‘The Showoff’ confessed that over the years, he would take time out to say hello to the boss. He said that Vince was usually very supportive and receptive of his ideas, and as time went by the mutual trust and respect between the two only increased.
Dolph has been with the WWE for a decade now and is an experienced campaigner.

Starting off as a member of The Spirit Squad, Ziggler didn't have the best of beginnings to his WWE career. However, his background in amateur wrestling and his skills in the ring as well as on the microphone helped Dolph carve out a niche for himself. In fact, he was the only one from the Spirit Squad to have a successful career on the main roster.
He is now the WWE Intercontinental Champion after winning it from the Miz at No Mercy in a career vs. title match. Ziggler and Miz put up what was definitely the match of the night at the Golden One Center in Sacramento, California.
Ziggler overcame heavy odds to win the Intercontinental title and many claimed that the match should have headlined the pay per view.
