WWE News: Dudley Boyz set to leave the WWE?
Unless a superstar is just throwing fans a social media swerve, it seems that the Dudley Boyz are leaving the WWE.
D-Von Dudley, one-half of the legendary tag team with storyline half-brother Bubba Ray, sent out a tweet Monday indicating that the duo would be leaving the company following the episode of RAW set to air in just a few hours.
One year ago we came back to the @WWE and to the @WWEUniverse . now it's time to say goodbye tonight on raw ...

The WWE’s own account retweeted the message and also made a related announcement on its website.
The timing of leaving or retiring the night after SummerSlam would be an interesting choice. The nine-time WWE tag team champions returned on the same episode of RAW a year ago, launching themselves into a feud with tag team champions the New Day. The Dudley Boyz made some noise in that feud but were unable to take the belts away.
Since then, they’ve mostly drifted out of the spotlight other than a feud with the Wyatt Family that brought Rhyno and Tommy Dreamer into the mix. The Dudley Boyz lost at SummerSlam on Sunday in a pre-show match against the thrown-together tag team of Neville and Sami Zayn.
Bubba Ray seemed to also allude to Monday’s events late Sunday evening.
Tomorrow night is going to be very interesting on Raw. @WWE #SummerSlam

He threw an even stronger hint at an exit on Monday afternoon.
Thanks for a great year @WWE and @WWEUniverse. Its time. See you on #RAW and see ya down the road.
