WWE News: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson reacts to a fifth grader comparing him to ‘a rock’

The Rock tweets in reply to little kid’s science project

What’ the story?

The Rock tweeted after seeing a post made by a fifth-grade teacher who shared the science project of a student comparing ‘The Rock’ to an actual rock. Dwayne seemed genuinely amused by the tiny fan’s antics and said that the kid is way smarter than he was at that age.

In case you didn’t know

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, apart from being one of the most well-known characters in WWE since the early nineties, is also an established actor having starred in over a dozen hit movies, the most recent being ‘Fate of the Furious’, the latest installment in the Fast and the Furious series of films.

The Rock is a household name for casual and hardcore fans of WWE to this day and surely will be for years to come, even though he is not an active wrestler for the time being.

The heart of the matter

Reddit user u/Marley_S and fifth-grade teacher shared one of her student’s science projects which was a comparison between a picture of The Rock from WWE with a picture of an actual rock.

One of the fifth-graders I work with made this in his science class. It wasn't even for a grade.

The picture was amusing, to say the least as you can see for yourselves, and the WWE Superstar and former world champion took this very sportingly even going as far as to say that the child is sure to become “a future science leader”.

The Rock will surely be back to the WWE ring for at least one last match before he finally retires from the squared circle and we can only hope that his last match lives up to the expectations of the fans as well as his legacy.

Author’s take

It’s awesome to see a WWE Superstar break character to acknowledge a child’s antics especially when the child in question is a huge fan. This is a very refreshing side of the People’s Champion and it goes to show how nice of a person he really is in real life.
