Apparently, as regards both traditional Survivor Series matchups, the SmackDown Men’s team and the RAW Women’s team are favourites to win. Additionally, information regarding betting on other matchups on the card has also been highlighted.

In case you didn’t know…

The WWE’s Survivor Series PPV is an annual event and considered to be one of its ‘Big 4’ presentations (Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, SummerSlam & Survivor Series).

The world of sports-entertainment, much like most other industries, attracts betting people from all around the world.

The heart of the matter

The early betting odds for WWE Survivor Series 2017 are as follows:

5 on 5 Survivor Series Match (Men’s)

Team Smackdown -167 vs Team Raw +120

5 on 5 Survivor Series Match (Women’s)

Team Raw -295 vs Team Smackdown +200

Universal Champion vs WWE Champion

Brock Lesnar -500 vs AJ Styles +300

SmackDown Women’s Champion vs RAW Women’s Champion

Charlotte Flair -155 vs Alexa Bliss +110

SmackDown Tag Team Champions vs RAW Tag Team Champions

The Usos -250 vs Cesaro & Sheamus +175

Intercontinental Champion vs United States Champion

The Miz -139 vs Baron Corbin +100

WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Enzo Amore -225 vs Kalisto +155

6-Man Tag Team Match

The Shield -500 vs The New Day +300

For those unaware of how the betting system works, the number for the underdogs is the amount one would earn if they bet a $100 and said underdog wins. On the other hand, the number for the favourites is the amount one has to bet in order to win a $100.

Presently, the favourites to win at Survivor Series are Team SmackDown (Men’s), Team RAW (Women’s), Brock Lesnar, Charlotte Flair, The Usos, The Miz, Enzo Amore and The Shield.

What’s next?

The WWE’s Survivor Series pay-per-view will take place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on November 19th.

The betting odds for Survivor Series are likely to change right up until the event.

Author’s take

Well, honestly speaking, betting on the WWE — while a lucrative and fun practice — is often much harder than it seems on the surface.

Most matchups on the card are highly unpredictable and, apart from The Shield winning, not much else seems to be obvious at this point.
