WWE News: Shane Mcmahon to be Edge's guest on SmackDown

Here comes the money, Edge

Shane McMahon revealed a few days ago on Twitter that the WWE Hall Of Famer The Rated-R Superstar Edge will return for Smackdown Live’s 900th episode to host The Cutting Edge.

WWE announced that Edge’s guest on the show would be, none other than the 5th member of the Smackdown Live Survivor Series team, Shane McMahon. According to Inquisitr, The Cutting Edge segment is likely to promote and hype up the Inter-promotional elimination matches.

Inquisitr also said that it would not be a surprise if The Cutting Edge closed the show.

It was announced last week that The Undertaker would be returning for the 900th episode of Smackdown Live as well. Both Undertaker and Edge are two names synonymous with Smackdown, as they helped build the brand during its glory years, and won several world championships on the brand as well.

Daniel Bryan announced a Championship match between Dolph Ziggler and The Miz in a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship. He said that if The Miz loses the rematch, then he will likely trade him to Raw for either Sami Zayn or Cesaro. However, it must be noted that Dolph Ziggler is facing Sami Zayn at Survivor Series.

As for the Survivor Series SmackDown Live teams, they are now officially complete, with Breezango being the final addition of the Tag Team. Baron Corbin, who was originally part of the men’s singles Survivor Series Smackdown Live team, was removed from the team due to an injury. It looks like it is a kayfabe injury.

Regardless, Daniel Bryan announced after the main event that he wanted Commissioner Shane McMahon to be part of the team, and The Prodigal Son happily accepted.
