WWE News: Enzo Amore hurt at Payback

Enzo Amore injured!

The #1 Contenders match between Enzo and Cass and The Vaudevillains ended in No Contest as Enzo Amore hurt himself during the match. The injury happened in the middle of the match when Gotch Irish Whipped Enzo into the rope. Enzo slid in the mat and caught himself nastily on the rope.

Following that his head bounced nastily on the apron and he slid outside. The match was immediately called off and medical personnels rushed to check on Enzo Amore. Enzo didn’t ever stir and his fellow wrestler looked on worried as the doctors checked on Enzo.

Enzo was immediately taken out on a stretcher and WWE reported that his injury looked serious. No word has come out from WWE as of yet about the nature of injury or how serious the injury is. WWE will try to keep a close lid on this as Enzo is one of the fan favourites.

This news has set the tag team division a foot back as Enzo and Cass were the biggest fan favourites of the division. Injury seems to plague WWE as more and more Superstars are getting injured lately. Enzo has now joined the long list of WWE Superstars who have been sidelined recently due to injury.
