WWE News: Fan shot outside of Performance Center in 2015 returned to create chaos

c
Crazy fan back again

What’s the story?

You may remember back in 2015, a fan named Armando Alejandro Montalvo caused a big scene outside the WWE Performance Center.

The Police was called in by WWE after a disturbance call. Montalvo reportedly charged at one of the officers with a handful of rocks after a confrontation and was shot, and arrested after he recovered. Montalvo was charged with trespassing, resisting arrest and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer for the incident at the Performance Center.

That same fan returned to the Performance Center this past Wednesday as the new set of tapings were to be filmed.

In case you didn’t know...

Armando Alejandro Montalvo had been making recurring appearances outside the Performance Center door almost every day for several weeks, making many disturbing comments about his obsession with the WWE star AJ Lee and WWE Hall of Famer Lita.

AJ was never really at the Performance Center during this time but Lita was their regularly for the filming of the 2015 season of Tough Enough. It is believed he was trying to get her attention.

Montalvo makes regular social media posts claiming that Vince McMahon is out to get him.

The heart of the matter

Armando Alejandro Montalvo returned to the front of the WWE Performance Center this past Wednesday, just before the latest set of NXT tapings were to be recorded. This is his first appearance at the WWE PC since he was shot.

Fans waiting to get into Full Sail claim Montalvo was rambling on about WWE, DX and about how Vince McMahon will have to shoot him again to stop him. Montalvo ran for a car that was already waiting to take him after he was chased by security.

What’s next?

One can only assume WWE will take legal matters here. As far as we know, they surprisingly do not have a restraining order preventing him from returning to the building, but they still may be able to get him arrested on trespassing charges once again.

Author’s take

It is a crazy situation that could have turned as serious as it was back in 2015. Thankfully that didn't happen, but I do hope the local authorities can catch up with Montalvo and get him the help he obviously needs.
