WWE News: Final team revealed for the WWE Mixed Match Challenge
What’s the story?
Earlier today, WWE announced and confirmed the news that Ms Money in the Bank Carmella’s partner for the Mixed Match Challenge will be non-other than former WWE Intercontinental Champion and 1/3rd of the New Day, Big E. In case you didn’t know…
The Mixed Match Challenge is WWE’s upcoming television series and tournament which will be conducted between twelve teams consisting of both male and female superstars from the current WWE main roster. The teams will compete for 100,000 which will be donated to a charity of the winning team’s choice. The MMC will be telecasted live on WWE’s Facebook Watch.
The heart of the matter
WWE recently conducted a poll on Facebook that asked the WWE Universe to vote for a member of The New Day, whom they would like to see get paired up with Carmella for the upcoming WWE Mixed Match Challenge tournament. WWE announced the results of the poll earlier today and it has been revealed that former NXT Champion Big E will now team up with Carmella and are the final team to announce their entry into the MMC.
WWE has also posted the official announcement of Carmella and Big E’s entry into the Mixed Match Challenge and it has been confirmed in their statement that Big E has beaten his fellow New Day members Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston in the Facebook poll after getting a total of 47% of the votes.

What’s next?
The Mixed Match Challenge will be premiering this Tuesday, that is, the 16th of January exclusively on Facebook Watch. 12 teams will now compete in the inaugural MMC tournament by the end of which the first ever winners of the Mixed Match Challenge will be crowned.
