Finn Balor injury update: The Demon King will be backstage at Monday Night Raw; he's set to undergo testing
What’s the story?
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Finn Balor is in Columbus, Ohio for Monday Night Raw. He is set to undergo an impact test to determine the status of his concussion.
In case you didn’t know...
Finn Balor became the inaugural WWE Universal Champion at SummerSlam 2016. However, he suffered a torn labrum during the match and was subsequently forced to vacate the title. He returned to WWE TV on the Raw after WrestleMania 33. In the subsequent week, he suffered a concussion at the hands of Jinder Mahal.
The heart of the matter
Balor did not take part in the WWE Live events over the weekend due to the injury. In order for him to compete in the ring, he’ll have to pass the impact testing that is administered by the WWE medical staff.

With the increased awareness of brain injuries and the relation to CTE, any promotion that deals with concussions has to tread lightly. It isn’t just because of legal reasons, but also because of the long-term health of their employees.
What’s next?
We will probably see Finn Balor on Monday Night Raw since his in the arena. After Balor’s match with Mahal, Bray Wyatt made a surprise appearance on the screen to announce that he was coming to Raw. The Eater of Worlds also warned the Demon King to watch his back.
Author’s take
I have a feeling that the WWE will be cautious with Balor tonight. One thing that the WWE could do is have the first ever face-to-face promo between Wyatt and Balor. It would enable to have another memorable moment on Raw.
