What's the story?

It was announced on this week's edition of Monday Night Raw that there will be a second chance Fatal-4-Way match for the final spot in the men's Elimination Chamber match. Finn Balor took to Twitter to react to this second chance shortly after last night's announcement.

In case you didn't know...

The Elimination Chamber is a massive structure that debuted in the WWE at the 2002 Survivor Series. Shawn Michaels was the winner of the first ever Chamber match when he defeated Triple H, Chris Jericho, Kane, Booker T, and Rob Van Dam.

The heart of the matter...

The WWE posted the announcement on Twitter shortly after it was announced on Monday Night Raw. Take a look at the tweet below.

Balor would then respond to it with his action plan to reach Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans.

Balor had gained a lot of momentum after his first apperance in the Royal Rumble. He was the ironman of the match with a total time of 57:38, and made it to the final four. That momentum was stopped quickly the next night on Monday Night Raw when he lost to John Cena in the Elimination Chamber qualifying match.

Balor beat Seth Rollins back in 2016 at SummerSlam, to become the first ever Universal Champion. Oddly enough, he never received an official one-on-one rematch for the WWE Universal Title that he had to vacate due to injury, but winning next week's qualifying match will get him one step closer.

What's next?

Balor will get a chance at redemption on next week's edition of Monday Night Raw that takes place from the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

Author's take

I think Balor will win this match on Raw next week due to the simple fact that Crews just isn't being pushed enough as a serious singles competitor right now, while Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy will probably cancel each other out as The Great War continues.
