WWE News: Seth Rollins and Finn Balor added to Elimination Chamber
After an inconclusive end to the Fatal 5-Way Match to determine the final entrant into the men's Elimination Chamber Match, which will determine the number one contender for Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship at WrestleMania, Kurt Angle took to Facebook Live to announce the first ever Seven Man Elimination Chamber.
After Seth Rollins was added to the Fatal 4-Way involving Bray Wyatt, Matt Hardy, Apollo Crews and Finn Balor, chaos ensued and the match ended controversially with both Finn Balor and Seth Rollins pinning The Eater of Worlds as RAW went off the air.
As Balor and Rollins argued, Kurt Angle addressed the situation, stating that BOTH men deserve to be in the Elimination Chamber Match after both technically won the Fatal 5-Way Match on RAW tonight and announced that history would be made on February 25th.
With the layout of the match already taking shape, there's no word yet whether it will start off as a Triple Threat or whether Balor and Rollins will be stuffed into the same chamber.
What we do know is the first entrant will be The Miz, the last entrant will be Elias - and John Cena, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor will all be somewhere in between.
It's incredibly unlikely that there will be five pods in the Chamber to hold all seven men as the same Chamber will be used twice during the pay-per-view when the women make history too by competing in the first-ever Women's Elimination Chamber Match already confirmed, now the men will make a little bit of history, too.
Unless, of course, WWE were to build a new structure with five pods, which may mean adding an extra Superstar to the Women's match, an interesting concept when you consider that a new Superstar will be joining the roster that night too.
Highly unlikely, but you never know with WWE. It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out!
