WWE News: First official WWE Performance Center photo of Ricochet, War Machine, & Candice LeRae
What's the story?
This week marked the addition of four major signings to the WWE family when Candice LeRae, Ricochet, and War Machine were signed to a contract. Yesterday these four posed for the first official photo at the Performance Center since signing those deals.
In case you didn't know...
Candice LeRae began wrestling professionally in 2002. She primarily worked in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla where she was a tag team champion with Joey Ryan.
War Machine has been a team since 2014 making their biggest marks in New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring Of Honor. They've won the ROH Tag Team Championship once as well as IWGP Tag Team Championships twice.
Ricochet is considered by many as the biggest free agent out there ever since he was finally clear of his Lucha Underground contract where he performed as Prince Puma. He won the Lucha Underground Championship twice; while as Ricochet, he was the second American to ever win NJPW's Best Of The Super Juniors (Eddie Guerrero was the first).
The heart of the matter
Here is the photo of the four new signees at the WWE PC in Orlando:
With the next round of NXT tapings occurring on February 1st from Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia, it is possible we could see all four wrestlers compete in some fashion on what should be a total of four episodes of television that is taped.
Since all four of the new signees to NXT are established wrestlers (Candice appeared in the Mae Young Classic and an episode of NXT), it is safe to say their debuts are not going to be that far off and all of them could be involved in NXT Takeover: New Orleans, the night before WrestleMania 34.
What's next?
NXT Takeover: Philadelphia is just a week from Friday as Andrade Cien Almas takes on Johnny Gargano for the NXT Championship; while Aleister Black faces Adam Cole in an Extreme Rules Match.
It is very possible that you will see one or all four of the new signees in the front row next weekend at Takeover.
Author's take
If EC3 ends up going to NXT for a couple of years, I could say this is the most impressive group to come to the WWE since the "Leaders Of The New School" with Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Hideo Itami, and Neville.
I've been a fan of all four wrestlers for some time now and they're all going to make a tremendous mark in the company. Personally I can't wait to see Ricochet take on guys like Lio Rush, Aleister Black, Roderick Strong, and Adam Cole, while I hope they give us War Machine vs Authors Of Pain before AOP is called up to the main roster.
