WWE News: Former NXT Women's Champion to stay in NXT a bit longer
For a few years now, WWE NXT has been the developmental territory for the main roster. NXT features several wrestlers of international repute and also provide the fans with enjoyable wrestling matches. So the loyal members of WWE Universe, who follow the weekly episodes of NXT, are always eager to find out which NXT Superstar will get the next opportunity to shine in the main roster of WWE.
Fans have witnessed that the RAW after WrestleMania showcases the main roster debut of two or three NXT superstars. This year, the opportunity went to the team of Enzo and Big Cass, and Apollo Crews. Some felt that the former NXT Champion Finn Balor or former NXT Women’s Champion Bayley will make their debuts but that didn’t happen.
Although NXT Superstar Dana Brooke made her main roster debut by attacking Becky Lynch during an interview segment this week, many fans were unhappy as Bayley was still stuck in NXT and the recent reports of dailwrestlingnews.com may further increase their unhappiness. As per those reports, Bayley will have to stay in NXT for a little while longer because the WWE officials don’t have another top female babyface in NXT to replace her.
Bayley made her NXT debut in early 2013 and won the NXT Women’s Championship from Sasha Banks at NXT Takeover Brooklyn, last year. Many fans are keeping their fingers crossed to see these two women put on another great match, on this time on the main roster.
