WWE News: Former WWE Champion mocks Roman Reigns; sends a threatening messageĀ
What's the story?
Jinder Mahal has sent out a message to Roman Reigns via Instagram, after having been ambushed by The Big Dog on RAW, injuring Jinder Mahal in the process. Jinder Mahal is not one to sit quietly and made his voice heard in a video posted on Instagram.
In case you didn't know...
Jinder Mahal and Roman Reigns have begun a feud after JInder cost Roman Reigns his MITB qualifying match against Finn Balor and Sami Zayn, which was then won by Balor.
Jinder's gripe with Roman Reigns was the fact that he got the opportunities that The Maharaja failed to get.
Last week on RAW, Reigns ambushed JInder backstage and gave him quite the beating, injuring the former WWE Champion. This injury resulted in Jinder having to withdraw from his MITB qualifier match against Elias and Bobby Lashley, and was replaced by Kevin Owens who ended up winning the match.
The heart of the matter
The Modern Day Maharaja was clearly upset and vented out his frustration in this video, telling Roman Reigns that he will "see him" on RAW. The Maharaja further mocked Reigns by using his catchphrase 'Believe That' at the end of the video.
What's next?
Since both Jinder Mahal and Roman Reigns have failed to qualify for the MITB match, it looks like the two men will be facing each other at the Money In The Bank PPV which will take place on June 17th.
Author's take
Jinder Mahal had gone back to being a mid-carder ever since he came back to RAW after the Superstar Shakeup, losing his US Championship on his very first night back and then taking a loss to Chad Gable.
So a feud with The Big Dog, even if for a short time, will help the former 3MB member come into the limelight yet again.
