What's the story?

Former WWE Diva Gail Kim has expressed her disappointment with Kurt Angle's booking at WrestleMania.

Kim referred to Vince McMahon as an a**hole, in her comment on Kurt Angle's recent Instagram photo.

In case you didn't know...

Kurt Angle revealed the name of his WrestleMania opponent on this week's Raw. As Angle uttered the words 'Baron Corbin", the Chicago crowd reacted mildly, with a few boos thrown in for good measure.

Several wrestling personalities expressed their disappointment on the reveal. Kurt Angle's wife Giovanna ended up slamming the decision, but later deleted the tweet and posted an update.

The heart of the matter

My farewell match will be against Baron Corbin at Wrestlemania. I realize it’s not the most popular decision from a fan’s perspective... BUT I will make Corbin tap out on the biggest stage of them all.... and I Hope you can share this moment/accomplishment with me on April 7th. Baron is a legit tough guy. It won’t be easy but it never is. #itstrue #wrestlemania35 #wwe #wrestling

Former WWE Diva Gail Kim chimed in, and proceeded to call Vince McMahon an a**hole. She added that no matter what, Kurt Angle would make his final match a memorabale one for sure.

What's next?

It seems that WWE is hell bent on going along with this match, completely ignoring the fan backlash on social media. There's a slight possibility that we could see the match being changed with Angle getting a new opponent, judging by the insane amount of pissed off fans in the WWE Universe.

In case the match isn't changed, it would be interesting to see the duo wrestle a match in front of a sea of 80,000 fans. With the reaction Corbin gets usually, it wouldn't be surprising if the fans don't care about the match at all, with only Angle's win getting a reaction from the crowd.

Should WWE change the match so as not to piss off the fans? What do you think? Sound off!
