Kaitlyn is primed for a comeback to professional wrestling

What’s the story?

Former WWE Superstar Kaitlyn has taken to social media so as to announce her in-ring comeback date.

Apparently, Kaitlyn will make return to in-ring competition on February 10th—

Well here it is. You’ve all been asking me if I’m returning to the ring. I’ve been training with @pablomarquez94 at his school, #maineventtrainingcenter, for the past few months and rediscovered my love for pro wrestling. I never really intended on wrestling again. I just starting training again because it’s been extremely therapeutic and has ignited my passion again. I want to thank Pablo for welcoming me to his family. It’s been almost four years since I stepped into the ring. This year has been super pivotal for me. I’ve discovered a lot of things about myself and spent so much time deciding who and what I want to be. I’m a lot of things. I’m an entrepreneur, a pro wrestler, a mess, and an unstoppable freight train. There’s so much i want to accomplish and have so much unfinished business. I’m not going to say that I’ll be doing more shows but this one is just super meaningful for me. It’s a symbolic match for me. How appropriate for it to be called “Breaking Chains”. In a lot of ways, I’ve spent 2017 breaking chains ....from my divorce to the mental limitations that existed in my head. Join me on February 10th for this awesome show. I’ll be the main event and will be wrestling @therachaelellering. Ill be filming the ups and downs while training for this show. Can’t wait to share that with you all. I’ll post more details about how to grab some tickets. For now, visit CoastalChampionshipWrestling.com/ tickets. See you guys there! Thanks for all the love! #prowrestling #coastalchampionshipwrestling #babyface #dontcallitacomeback #butdo #celestialbodiez #breakingchains

Kaitlyn, whose real name is Celeste Bonin, competed in the sport of professional wrestling, working for the WWE form 2010-14.

The 31-year-old recently alluded that she does indeed desire to test her skills in the sport once again, following a tumultuous 2017 which saw her involved in a highly-publicized divorce, besides opening up on her addiction issues.

The heart of the matter

It was on December 22nd, 2017 that Coastal Championship Wrestling revealed that Kaitlyn, who is a former WWE Divas Champion, will make her in-ring return at an event for the promotion.

The aforementioned announcement has now been confirmed by Kaitlyn, who emphasized that although she wouldn’t call it an all-out comeback just yet, she intends to make her upcoming single appearance special. Kaitlyn will compete in the main event of CCW's February 10th event, against Mae Young Classic competitor Rachael Ellering (Rachel Evers), who is the daughter of WWE Hall-of-Famer and NXT personality Paul Ellering.

Furthermore, Kaitlyn implied that she plans on taking things one step at a time, which in turn could potentially lead her back to the WWE.

Author’s take

Kaitlyn is a brave woman and truly a warrior in every sense of the word. Not many who live life under constant scrutiny from the public would have the guts to come out with their addiction issues and problems in one’s marriage.

It’s great to see Kaitlyn take the past negative issues in her stride, and put forth her best efforts so as to turn around her life. Sportskeeda sends its good wishes to The Hybrid Diva on the road to her comeback.
