WWE News: Goldberg and Brock Lesnar won't appear on next week's RAW
Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg haven’t been inside the same ring since Wrestlemania XX and fans have been left wondering when we will finally see the two behemoths face to face in before their match at Survivor Series.
According to a report from Wrestlezone.com, neither Lesnar nor Goldberg is scheduled to appear on next Monday’s RAW. WWE is heading out on their usual European tour in the fall, and next week’s show will take place at SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
Neither Brock nor Goldberg will appear on the show, as they have not travelled with the roster overseas.
While the two are not scheduled to make an appearance on next week’s Monday Night RAW, both Goldberg and Lesnar are advertised for the November 14th episode of the flagship show, which will take place at Keybank Center in Buffalo, New York.
It is the final RAW before the Survivor Series and as of this writing, both Goldberg and Lesnar will be appearing on the go-home show for Survivor Series to begin the final build for their match
After making a triumphant return to the WWE in Denver a few weeks ago, Bill Goldberg finally got involved in a physical capacity on this week’s episode of RAW. He hit his patented Jackhammer on Rusev and Speared the Advocate of the Beast Incarnate – Paul Heyman. Lesnar will certainly have something to say about his opponent’s actions.
It is not surprising that the headliners for the event will be part of the show directly leading to the pay-per-view, as WWE is usually in ‘all hands on deck’ mode to hype up the weekend’s show for one last time giving it a final push.
Survivor Series will take place on November 20th at Air Canada Center in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and marks the in-ring comeback of Goldberg after 12 years. Neither Goldberg nor Lesnar is scheduled to appear in any events following the November PPV for the rest of the year.
There has been no confirmation on whether we will see The Myth wrestle beyond Survivor Series. Furthermore, it is unknown at this time, whether Goldberg will compete after his match with Brock Lesnar.
Goldberg has gone on the record saying that he treats this current WWE run of his as a ‘one-match contract’ and unless something exciting comes along in the wrestling world, he will move on with his following Survivor Series.
If that is really the case and if this might be the last time we see Goldberg in action, then fans should definitely tune in to watch Survivor Series.
