WWE News: Goldberg is heading to Wrestlecon during WrestleMania week
What's the story?
Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting on the latest wrestler to join the Wrestlecon event during WrestleMania weekend and it is a big one with former WWE Universal Champion, Goldberg.
In case you didn't know...
Goldberg will headline the 2018 WWE Hall Of Fame class that will be inducted on April 6th. Joining Goldberg so far will be the Dudley Boyz and Ivory.
Goldberg returned to the WWE on October 10, 2016, after a 12-year hiatus with the company to go face-to-face with Brock Lesnar on Monday Night Raw. Goldberg defeated Lesnar in just 86 seconds.
The heart of the matter
The day after Goldberg is inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, he will appear at Wrestlecon for a signing on April 7th. Other big names scheduled to appear at Wrestlecon this year include Ric Flair, Kenny Omega, Sting, Trish Stratus, Bret Hart, and Mick Foley.
In addition to appearances and signings, Wrestlecon also has wrestling specials from several promotions. The promotions that will have an event at Wrestlecon this year include Impact Wrestling, Revolution Pro Wrestling, Combat Zone Wrestling and House Of Hardcore.
What's next?
Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for further announcements regarding Wrestlecon. After adding two huge names in Goldberg and Kenny Omega over the past week, there may be even bigger names added.
Author's take
One of the few things I didn't do on my first WrestleMania trip two years ago to Dallas was Wrestlecon, but it always seems so tempting with the names they bring in for the shows. The chance to shake hands and get a photo with Goldberg is definitely not one to pass up if you are going to be down that way for WrestleMania this year.
