WWE News: Great Khali offers unconditional support to Aam Aadmi Party candidate in Punjab

It would seem that The Great Khali just cannot remain out of the headlines, ever since he returned full-time to India to try and spark pro-wrestling in the country into life. Apart from fielding his own promotion in Jalandhar, Continental Wrestling Entertainment, he has also been active on social media to further his mainstream presence.

Pictures with the likes of Sunny Leone and Harbhajan Singh have gone viral, with the former Indian off-spinner even taking to the CWE ring to participate in a segment with a local wrestler.

However, it seems that the former WWE Champion isn’t quite content with his tryst with media headlights yet, and has come out publicly offer his support to AAP’s Punjab candidate Sajjan Singh Cheema, reports Indian Express.

It would be noteworthy here that The Great Khali, Dalip Singh Rana in reality, is immensely popular in Punjab and enlisting his support would be invaluable for any political aspirations that the party may harbour in the region.
