WWE News: Hall of Famer "Superstar" Billy Graham provides an update after recent health scare
WWE Hall of Famer "Superstar" Billy Graham has returned home from the hospital after suffering a heart attack. This was confirmed by the former WWE champion himself via his Facebook page yesterday, as he let fans know he was recently admitted to the world-famous Mayo Clinic.
Heart Issues
Hey fans, I am back home from the Mayo Clinic Hospital. I wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes and prayers. I need rest right now but by this coming Sunday evening I will give all my Facebook fans an in-depth report on the status of my heart. All I will say for now is that I have suffered a heart attack and am in constant heart failure. I am of course on medications for my heart and will be for the remainder of my life. I am keeping the faith and will fight !!! Superstar Billy Graham
Unfortunately, Graham is no stranger to medical emergencies, going as far back as 2002 when he required his first liver transplant due to cirrhosis. In 2010, his health was in such dire shape that he even took the step to reserve a burial plot for himself (he planned on being buried in Scottsdale, AZ next to Eddie Gurrero).
However, it looks like "the man with the power and too sweet to be sour" is back home and resting.
Graham was recently in wrestling news after making some awkward comments regarding WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and his New Day teammate Big E, as well as some criticism towards the WrestleMania 35 main event.
Controversial or not, "Superstar" Billy Graham is an important figure in pro wrestling history and more than deserving of his spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. We all here at Sportskeeda are thrilled at the news that he is home from the hospital and wish him nothing but future good health.
