WWE News: Hart family member speaks about Tyson Kidd's health
Former 3 time WWE Tag Team Champion, Tyson Kidd, sustained a devastating neck injury last year during a dark match against Samoa Joe. After that, he was forced to undergo a neck surgery. There have been numerous reports which indicated that Kidd's situation could have been worse.
Teddy Hart, who is a member of one of the greatest wrestling families in history and the nephew of Bret and Owen Hart, opened up to WrestlingInc and discussed Kidd's injury.
"From what I heard, he was never supposed to walk, lucky to live. Lucky to be able to do certain things. I don't think his life will ever fully be the same. He talks about having anxiety. If he's driving down the street and a car hits him at even 20 km/h, his neck (can be decapitated). He walks down the street, slips and falls, it could jar his neck for life.
His recovery is going great, but recovery for what? To play video games? You took one of the greatest wrestlers ever, right when you started to use him right, but you never let Tyson Kidd grow. All the guys loved him.”
The Hart family has been one of the most unfortunate families in the business of pro-wrestling. No one would be able to forget Owen’s untimely death or Kidd’s devastating neck injury. Teddy had two short stints in WWE. After getting the contract in 1998, he became the youngest person ever to be signed by WWF/E.
