In case you didn't know...
At Extreme Rules, the main event of the show was a mixed tag team match between the team of Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch and Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans, with the winners of the match taking the Universal and RAW Women's title, respectively.
Corbin landed an End of Days on Becky Lynch, which infuriated Rollins, who landed multiple Stomps on Corbin, and got the win. But following the match, Brock Lesnar made his way to the ring, attacked Rollins and cashed-in his contract. He landed an F-5 and got the win, winning back the Universal title that he lost at WrestleMania 35.
The heart of the matter
Following the match, and after Extreme Rules went off the air, Rollins and Lynch looked distraught and in disbelief after Rollins' loss.
The former Universal champions asked Becky if she was okay, and then tells her "you were awesome", before apologising to Lynch. Rollins apologised to her for letting her down as well as everybody else, saying "I let everybody down".
The two then looked at the cheering crowd, before Rollins apologised once again, and the two made their way to the back, Rollins looking weary from the abuse he suffered at the hands of Corbin as well as Lesnar.
