WWE News: Here's who Bobby Roode thinks are the best wrestlers in the world

Roode will face Tye Dillinger at NXT TakeOver: Toronto.

Ever since electrifying the crowd at NXT TakeOver: Back 2 Brooklyn, Booby Roode has had a taste of how things are in the WWE. Roode has won over the crowd with his “glorious” attire and class while portraying a classic heel.

He was recently interviewed by Sports Illustrated where he was asked to name the three best wrestlers in the world currently. Here is what the Glorious One had to comment:

“That’s a really tough question,Obviously AJ Styles is one, Seth Rollins is another guy that’s really good, and I’ve always been a big fan of Dolph Ziggler’s work. I think he’s amazing, and I would love the opportunity to work with him. It’s so hard to pick just three guys. Being in the WWE and having a look at the roster of NXT, Smackdown, and Raw, there are just a plethora of guys I would love to do some stuff with. But if I have to give you three names, it’s AJ, Seth, and Dolph.”

His selection of Styles comes as no surprise as both of them were top stars while working in the TNA, and have had a few battles with each other. The strange fact is the exclusion of wrestlers like Nakamura and Joe from NXT, which he currently is a part of.

Apart from that, Roode also revealed his future plans with the WWE, stating his ambition to reach the pinnacle of the sport.

He said: But, as far as I go, you’re in this business for one reason, and that’s to be number one. Obviously, Nakamura is someone I’m looking at very closely.”

His targeting of Nakamura might indicate that he would be the one going after the NXT Championship after Samoa Joe. Meanwhile though, Roode is all ready to face his fellow Canadian Tye Dillinger at NXT TakeOver to be held in his hometown of Toronto.

Here is what Roode had to speak about the match:

“This is the biggest match of Tye’s career, but he has to remember who he’s in the ring with, I’m going to treat TakeOver: Toronto like it’s another night at the office. I’m going to prove why I am one of the best in the world.”

With Roode not getting any younger, it might not be too late before he gets promoted to the main roster. Since Roode has expressed his desire to work with these men, it is time to sit back and wait for it to happen.
