WWE Rumours: Huge WrestleMania 33 match between Triple H and Seth Rollins in the works?

Triple H turned on Seth Rollins to hand Kevin Owens the WWE Universal Championship

This past Monday Night RAW’s Universal Title Match conclusion was shocking, to say the least. During the main event that would determine the new WWE Universal Champion, due to the fact that former champion Finn Balor was injured during his SummerSlam match with Seth Rollins, the Fatal 4-Way match between Big Cass, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Roman Reigns ended with a surprise visit from ‘The Game’.

Triple H emerged out of nowhere to deliver a Pedigree on Roman Reigns and allow Seth Rollins to eliminate the man that took the WWE Title from him last year at WrestleMania 32. It looked as though Triple H was going to help his star pupil Seth Rollins steal another win and take home the Universal Title, but instead, Hunter hit Rollins with a kick to the gut, pinned his arms behind his back, and drove him down into the canvas for a Pedigree of his own.

A shocked Kevin Owens would then seize his opportunity, and pin Rollins to become the new WWE Universal Champion. With Owens now getting into bed with Triple H and The Authority, it seems as if a feud between Rollins and his former mentor could be brewing right before our very eyes. According to a report from Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, RAW’s controversial ending could be the beginning of the lead up to a colossal match between Rollins and Triple H at Wrestlemania 33.

With Rollins now fending for himself without the services of both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, who is to say we won’t see a reunion of The Shield as it pertains to both Rollins and Roman Reigns who now both have a legitimate beef with the former WWE Champion.

Could this past Monday’s events begin to form a Shield reunion right before our very eyes? And what is the next step for Kevin Owens now that he is being protected under the all powerful wing of Triple H?

Rollins was certainly losing a bit of faith from both Stephanie McMahon and Triple H over the past few months, especially most recently when he was unsuccessful in his attempt to secure the Universal Title originally against Finn Balor at SummerSlam when he was granted a pass from the tournament set in place to determine who would contest for the belt.

How do you think the events between Triple H and Seth Rollins will lead up all the way to Wrestlemania 33? Will they settle their differences once and for all at the show of all shows?
