WWE News: Hulk Hogan files new lawsuit against Gawker

Hogan testifies in court during the Gawker trial

Earlier this year WWE Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan won a lawsuit against Gawker, a website that published a sex tape of Hogan and his friend’s wife, Heather Clem. The jury awarded him $140 Million in damages. But Hogan doesn’t want to stop at this point and he has filed yet another lawsuit against the website.

The New York Post confirms the filing of a new lawsuit against Gawker. Reportedly, Hogan is asking for a huge amount of money in the new accusation. He claims that this new lawsuit will focus on the end of his WWE career due to Gawker’s action.

The Hulkster believes that the release of that tape by Gawker led to his income being cut off, and his "legacy in entertainment was severely damaged (if not completely destroyed), and his global brand was forever tarnished."

Wrestlinginc.com has reported that in this new lawsuit, Hogan has also requested to take action against some residents of Florida, which includes DJ Mike "Cowhead" Calta, for sending at least one of the secretly recorded tapes to Gawker. Though aware of his actions, police previously declined to pursue charges against Calta and others involved in the leak.

The lawsuit is already filed in Florida.
