WWE News: Identity of Roman centurions accompanying Charlotte for her WrestleMania 34 entrance revealed
What's the story?
Charlotte made history at WrestleMania 34 when she became the one to break Asuka's phenomenal unbeaten streak and, successfully defended her SmackDown Live Women's title.
But let's not forget Charlotte's epic entrance at the start of the match, which saw 'The Queen' accompanied down the ramp by Roman centurion soldiers.
In case you didn't know...
It was the title vs the streak at WrestleMania 34, when the winner of the first ever Women's Royal Rumble Match, the undefeated Asuka, challenged Charlotte to a match on 'The Grandest Stage of Them All'.
The heart of the matter
Okay, so we're all in agreement that Charlotte breaking Asuka's streak was a huge shock, and we all agree that Charlotte's entrance was awesome, but one niggling question I'm sure we all had was, who were the guys escorting Charlotte?
Fear not WWE Universe, because, we have got you covered. Casey Michael from Squared Circle Sirens, has successfully identified the Roman centurions as NXT Superstars Tino Sabbatelli, Riddick Moss, and Dan Matha.
As you can see, he's even posted a picture of the three of them goofing around backstage without their helmets on.
What's next?
Charlotte is still the SmackDown Live champion, and she still has the threat of Carmella and the Money in the Bank Briefcase looming over her.
But, Charlotte's long-term plans are rumored to be against Ronda Rousey, in the first-ever women's main event of WrestleMania 35. Wouldn't that be quite something!
Author's take
What makes this revelation particulalry cool is that Charlotte herself was once in their shoes appearing as a glamourous extra for Triple H during one of his WrestleMania entrances.
Now things have come full circle and Charlotte is one of the top stars in the world and NXT stars are accompanying her for her entrances.
