What’s next?
The first major stop for WWE in 2018 is Royal Rumble, which is scheduled to take place on 28 January 2018 and will feature both Raw and SmackDown brands. On the same week, NXT will have its own big show in the form of NXT Takeover: Philadelphia.
Author’s take
The stats underline how good AJ Styles was in 2017. He not only featured in the top five of ‘Most Matches’ category but was also in the top five of ‘Most wins’ category.
Jinder Mahal deserves some appreciation for working his rear off despite all the criticism that came his way. The same applies to Baron Corbin who has been wrestling throughout the year.
