WWE News: Positive injury update about SmackDown Live star
What's the story?
We had recently reported that WWE Superstar Samir Singh had suffered an injury during a run-in with Bobby Roode, before the finals of the US Title Tournament. While it seemed that he had rolled his knee, it turns out that he had an ACL tear.
We're glad to report that Samir Singh is well on his way to recovery, right now. He's undergoing treatment at Birmingham, Alabama and should be able to step into the ring again, if all goes well.
In case you didn't know...
Samir and Sunil Singh are part of a tag team called The Singh Brothers and were formerly known as the Bollywood Boyz. They are an integral part of Jinder Mahal's entrance and take awe-inspiring bumps during his matches as well.
They've been instrumental in Jinder Mahal's meteoric rise from the mid-card to the very top. Unfortunately, Samir Singh is no longer by his side, right now.
The heart of the matter
If you were worried about Samir Singh's future, fear not for he's in very safe hands. At this time, he is undergoing treatment from Dr Jeff Dugas at St. Vincent's in Birmingham, Alabama for his ACL tear.
While he was resting on crutches, Samir Singh seemed to be positive that he was well on his way to recovery. The outpouring of support from his fans in India and around the world must have spurred him on. Samir Singh is excited about the future, and his WWE career is far from done.
What's next?
Jinder Mahal only has one ally in Sunil Singh now. It remains to be seen how the two men will be booked, going forward. That should shed some light, on the future of this act.
Author's take
My Sportskeeda Profile is with the Singh Brothers. Is it any surprise that I want Samir Singh to get well soon?
Best of luck for the future!
