He took to social media and sent this Tweet out. It is clear that Ellsworth will cherish his dream run with WWE, for the rest of his life:
In case you didn't know...
An independent wrestler with a unique look, Ellsworth shot to fame when he faced Braun Strowman in a squash match, and somehow connected with the entire WWE Universe.
He had a fantastic run, defeating AJ Styles on various occasions, teaming up with Carmella and even interfering in the first ever Women's Money in the Bank ladder match.
At the end of the day, he was grateful for his amazing run.
The heart of the matter
For someone who'd come on board for a one and done deal, James Ellsworth's WWE run must have been like a dream. From an independent wrestler to a man who got to travel the world and be a part of WWE history, Ellsworth had a fantastic run over the course of the previous year.
His Tweet signifies just how close he'd become to those in the SmackDown Live locker room. By all indications, he was liked just as much as he liked his peers.
