What’s the story?

James Ellsworth was the recipient of a hellacious beat-down at the hands of the WWE Women’s Division.

Apparently, Ellsworth attempted to grab Carmella, in response to which the entire Women’s Division laid waste to the Chinless Wonder.

In case you didn’t know…

James Ellsworth rose to prominence in the WWE after his angle with Dean Ambrose but truly broke through only recently on being paired as Carmella’s manager.

However, Ms Money In The Bank Carmella recently turned on Ellsworth; super-kicking him before allowing her fellow female Superstars to beat him up.

The heart of the matter

The WWE put up shop in Milan, Italy when James Ellsworth made his way down the ramp; grabbing Carmella’s hand in an attempt to persuade her to come with him.

Nevertheless, Carmella shucked him off, following which Tamina Snuka knocked him down with a huge super-kick, and Naomi hit him with ‘The Worm’ (famously used by Scotty 2 Hotty).

Furthermore, ‘The Irish Lass Kicker’ Becky Lynch hit Ellsworth with Mick Foley’s signature move ‘Mr. Socko’; laying waste to the SmackDown Superstar, much to the delight of the fans in attendance.

What’s next?

Carmella continues to distance herself from James Ellsworth, as the story of her turning against the latter unfolds in the days to come on SmackDown Live.

Author’s take

Well, James Ellsworth has emerged as one of the most hated heels in the professional wrestling scene today, and the fact that WWE is having the entire Women’s Division Layeth the Smacketh Down on him further accentuates the heat he gets from fans the world over.

Regardless, it’ll be interesting to see how Carmella and Ellsworth’s split affects Ms. Money In The Bank’s standing in the blue brand’s Women’s Division.
