WWE News: Jan Ross' organs donated
What’s the story?
Jan Ross, the wife of legendary WWE commentator Jim Ross, has, after her sudden passing on Wednesday has continued to give, even after her death.
In case you didn’t know...
Earlier this week, Jim Ross announced via his twitter account that his wife has tragically passed away after the injuries she sustained when she was hit by a car whilst driving her Vespa. JR announced early on Thursday morning that:
’A Priest gave my wife Jan her last rites tonight. My little Angel is gone.’
The suddenness of the death makes this story even more heartbreaking with tributes and touching condolence messages pouring in from around the world for the much-beloved commentator.
A Priest gave my wife Jan her last rites tonight. My little Angel is gone.

The heart of the matter
However, this dark cloud has a silver lining. JR took to his twitter account once again on Saturday to announce that Jan was, in fact, an organ donor and that her lungs, liver and kidneys had already found recipients.
This indeed is an outstanding gesture and proves in the wake of a disaster, good can sometimes be found.
My wife Jan is an #OrganDonor and thus far her lungs, liver & kidneys have found recipients.

What’s next?
Jim Ross alluded to the fact that more good news is on the way, in his tweet, and this is truly fantastic. JR has also announced that he will honour his commitments in Orlando over Wrestlemania weekend and has actively encouraged people to see him.

We keep JR and the wider Ross family in our thoughts and prayers at this time. However, some good has come of this tragedy with as many as 4 lives having been saved via Jan’s organs. Though this is of little immediate comfort to JR, I’m sure, at least there is some light to come from this awful tragedy. Rest in peace Jan Ross.
