WWE News: Jason Jordan to miss WrestleMania
This week on WWE Raw, General Manager Kurt Angle officially announced that his son Jason Jordan would miss WrestleMania in just two months time after recently undergoing neck surgery.
Jordan was set to be part of a feud with former Tag Team partner Seth Rollins over the next eight weeks, leading up to a match at the Showcase of the Immortals, but it seems that his injury which was first noted ahead of The Royal Rumble could see him left on the shelf for up to a year.
It is also worth noting that his wife has denied all reports surrounding Jordan's surgery even though WWE announced it on their official Twitter page. There is a chance that the WWE Universe is being worked since there are differing reports when it comes to Jordan's timeline ahead of an in-ring return.
His absence means that Rollins now doesn't have a match at WrestleMania, but Angle was convinced to add Rollins to the fatal four-way match for the final spot in the Elimination Chamber, which could be his new lease on life.
Rollins former partner Dean Ambrose is also out injured after undergoing surgery himself back in December and recent rumours suggest that he could be back in time for WrestleMania to face Rollins since it was Rollins who caused the injury on Monday Night Raw before Samoa Joe made it worse.
This was set to be Jason Jordan's first singles match at WrestleMania but it seems that his injury has come at the worst time in his career when he was part of his biggest storyline to date and now it is unknown where he will slot in when he finally does return.
