TNA News: Jeff Hardy's dubious behaviour during a wrestling event causes worries
Amidst all the talk about Jeff Hardy being considered for a WWE return, the former World Champion has done something which might very well end his chances of being re-signed by the company anytime in future.
Hardy, who was scheduled to be in the main event of the 10th edition of Bloodymania, a PPV-style event of the independent wrestling promotion JCW (Juggalo Championship Wrestling ) last week, caused trouble during his match by botching many moves.
A correspondent of allwrestlingnews.com, who was in attendance for the event described his actions something like this:
“I attended Bloodymania 10 tonight at the Gathering of the Juggalos, and Jeff Hardy was involved in the main event. He botched several moves over the course of the match, including one that caused several people to be concerned for his well-being.
After the match, Jeff went on a rampage and continuously set up tables and ladders and began dropkicking or just generally attacking and destroying the chairs and ladders.
He also took a cardboard cutout of Arnold Schwarzenegger and climbed up a ladder with it, then pointed to the sky, I assume he thought it was a person he thought was dead. It was just a trainwreck of a moment for him."
Considering his history of substance problems, it's most likely that Hardy was in a state of intoxication during Bloodymania as well which is the possible reason behind his actions.
It's notable here that this is not the first time Hardy has acted distressingly during a wrestling show. The most famous incident of him messing up things came back in 2011 when he was supposed to be in the main event of TNA's Victory Road PPV against Sting, but he showed up all drunk and could barely walk.
This forced TNA to change their original plans and the match ended in less than two minutes when Sting pinned an unconscious Hardy after hitting him with his finisher. Below is a video of the full incident;
