WWE News: Jeff Hardy teases return of old, highly popular theme song
What’s the story?
Jeff Hardy has taken to social media so as to tease the return of his old WWE entrance theme.
This, in turn, has set the professional wrestling community abuzz with speculation that “No More Words”—the theme that Jeff used in his last WWE run—could potentially return very soon.
In case you didn’t know…
Jeff Hardy’s previous stint with the WWE ended in 2009, following which he performed extensively on the independent pro-wrestling circuit, and TNA (Impact Wrestling) in particular.
Jeff and his brother Matt Hardy returned to the WWE at WrestleMania 33 last year, and while wrestling as a Tag Team they utilized “Loaded” (by Zack Tempest) ever since.
The heart of the matter
Presently, “Woken” Matt Hardy now uses “The Deletion Anthem” (by $CFO) as part of his entrance with fellow RAW Tag Team Champion Bray Wyatt.
On the other hand, Jeff Hardy performs as a singles competitor and makes his entrance to the aforementioned “Loaded” theme song.
Regardless, Jeff has now taken to his official Instagram page; teasing the return of his old, highly-popular theme song “No More Words” (by Endeverafter)—one that he used from February of 2008 to August of 2009.
Several pro-wrestling fans, as well as experts, have been asserting their delight at Jeff Hardy potentially using the “No More Words” theme once again—furthermore, experts note that Hardy is likely to receive a huge push as a singles Superstar on WWE programming in the weeks to come.
Here’s Hardy teasing the usage of his old theme, in the video below—
What’s next?
Fans can expect clarity as to whether WWE allows Jeff to use the aforementioned theme going forward in his run as a singles competitor, possibly at this Sunday’s Backlash pay-per-view.
WWE United States Champion Jeff Hardy defends his title against Randy Orton at WWE’s Backlash PPV, which takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on May 6th.
Author’s take
Jeff Hardy’s “No More Words” theme was incredibly over with the fans during his previous WWE run.
Considering how Hardy still seems to enjoy just as much, if not more, popularity in the WWE Universe here’s hoping we do get to see Hardy come out to his old-school entrance theme once again—starting at Backlash, this Sunday.
