WWE News: Jeff Jarrett receives a special invitation from WWE
What's the story?
We recently learned that Jeff Jarrett will be one of the inductees in the WWE Hall of Fame, Class of 2018. Jarrett recently took to Twitter and posted about another special invite he received from WWE, for an appearance on the WWE Network show Table for 3.
Looks like Jarrett will be catching up with two other industry veterans and reliving old times on this Network broadcast. He has promised 'interesting dinner guests'.
In case you didn't know...
Table for 3 is a show on the WWE Network where three Superstars from sports entertainment catch up for dinner and chat about old times. It's a great insight into some backstage and on-the-road stories that fans may otherwise not be privy to.
For someone like Jeff Jarrett, who's done it all in the industry, this is an opportunity to not just relive the past, but also promote his own programs and feuds on the Network!
The heart of the matter
The world was shocked when Jeff Jarrett was announced as an inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame. While he was an integral component of both WWE and WCW, he is best known for being the heart and soul of TNA, since the company's inception.
Because of the immense experience and veteran status that Jarrett has in the industry, he makes for a perfect guest on this WWE Network show. We consequently wonder who the other two guests will be, considering the many options possible. Here is the tweet sent out by Jarrett:
WWE could pick Road Dogg - someone Jeff Jarrett has much history with, or someone from recent times, like Elias, who also portrays a guitar-playing gimmick.
Whatever the case may be, one cannot miss this show!
What's next?
First, Jeff Jarrett is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, two nights before WrestleMania 34.
Author's take
I would personally like to see guests like Bobby Roode and AJ Styles, both of whom have said on WWE television how grateful they are to Jarrett, for breaking them into the business. As for Jarrett himself, I've been a lifelong fan and I couldn't be any more thrilled.
I hope he breaks a guitar on Elias' head at the ceremony!
