WWE News: Jerry Lawler and his girlfriend scheduled to appear in court on Monday

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler was arrested on an account of a domestic violence incident that involved his 27-year-old girlfriend Lauryn McBride. The police have also arrested his girlfriend.  

While still in jail Lawler gave an interview to WMC TV which is a local media outlet from  Memphis, Tennessee. In it, he rejected his girlfriend’s accusation that he hit her over her head and presented her with a gun to shoot herself, stating it isn’t true at all.

Instead, he remarked that it was his girlfriend that got the handgun from the garage and had placed it in the kitchen in the first place.

Lawler blames his girlfriend for the attack stating that she always used to create issues under the influence of alcohol. He also noted that only last week, she got into a fight with her aunt after being intoxicated. 

He also accused her of attacking him, kicking him in the groin and claimed that she scratched his face and threw a candle at him while under the influence of alcohol.

Jerry Lawler is currently under indefinite suspension from the WWE.  The investigation will progress as both Jerry and his girlfriend are scheduled to appear in court on Monday
