WWE News: Jim Ross weigns in on Jerrry Lawler's arrest

Former WWE color commentator Jim Ross expressed his shock, regarding the arrest of his former colleague and announcer Jerry Lawler. Ross blogged his reactions on the incident in his blog. 

On his former partner’s arrest, he added that ‘‘alcohol was a contributing factor to the incident that resulted in Jerry being suspended indefinitely from the WWE as WWE has zero tolerance policy as it relates to domestic violence issues”. 

He also defended his former colleague saying that Lawler doesn’t drink and nor has he seen him drunk anywhere. Regarding the domestic violence, Ross stated that Lawler isn’t the type of person who could attack a woman, nor has he seen him do it. 

The former commentator also wished that his issue would be “resolved quickly and efficiently”.

Jerry Lawler and his girlfriend Lauryn McBride were arrested on charges of domestic violence and are scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
