During the first half of the show, Ross interviewed Daivari and they discussed a number of hot topics circulating around the wide world of professional wrestling, including the status of former WWE Champion CM Punk.
J.R. asked Daivari if he thought Punk was done with wrestling for good, or if he thought Punk might make a comeback one day. Daivari’s initial response was: “I think he has had his last advertised pro wrestling run.”
As they continued to discuss the current situation surrounding CM Punk, Jim Ross chipped in with hs two cents, making the comment that “I think he can find fun outside of the WWE...I did” J.R. went on to suggest that he did believe Punk still had a strong desire to wrestle again, but that he thinks the ship has sailed between Punk and the WWE.
