WWE News: Jimmy Jacobs opens up about WWE release

"Pleasant surprise to see old friends in lovely Chicago"

Jimmy Jacobs was recently fired for a reason which has become both famous and outlandish. He took a picture with his friends, and unfortunately for Jacobs, his friends happened to be The Bullet Club while they were in the middle of invading his employer's territory.

He took the selfie in question even before the Beling The Elite video dropped portraying the Raw Invasion and even longer before The Young Bucks received a cease and desist letter.

His friends weren't considered toxic when he took the selfie, but the winds of pro wrestling are constantly changing and Jacobs soon found himself unemployed for his social media faux pas.

But Jimmy Jacobs doesn't sound too broken up about it. He appeared on Live Audio Wrestling where he discussed his recent WWE release.

Jacobs said there was no mistake made and added: "I am A-ok with the way that everything went down.”

Jimmy Jacobs has been making lots of headlines since his WWE release most recently by showing up at ROH's Global Wars show where he got to take a selfie with his buddies without worrying about admonishment from his employer.

The sad fact is Jacobs doesn't have an employer right now, but odds are it probably won't stay that way for long.
