In response to a question posed by WWE fan and Sportskeeda writer Arunava Ghoshal, Mahal asserted that he’d want former 3MB stable-mate Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman on his team, going up against The Shield.
In case you didn’t know…
Jinder Mahal is presently on a promotional tour of India, with a couple of WWE live events scheduled to take place in the country in December of this year.
"The Modern Day Maharaja" has been quite busy meeting his Indian fans, and devoted his valuable time to answer several questions put forth to him.
The heart of the matter
In reference to the newly reformed Shield wreaking havoc on the most recent episode of Monday Night RAW, Jinder Mahal was probed as to whom he’d join forces with should he find himself going up against the Hounds of Justice.
On that note, Mahal said, “I would choose Drew McIntyre—my former 3MB stable-mate, just because of how he’s reinvented himself. He’s the NXT Champion.
“And, you know what, I’m gonna choose another man whose gonna be there, in New Delhi, in December. Actually, the opponent of Roman Reigns—Braun Strowman.”
What’s next?
The WWE comes to India for a couple of live events on the 8th and 9th of December.
The events are set to feature RAW Superstars, however, Mahal, being the first Indo-Canadian WWE Champion, will indeed accompany the red brand’s team on the tour.
