WWE News: Jinder Mahal to defend WWE Championship in India against Kevin Owens
Jinder Mahal was live on the WWE facebook account and announced that he is going to face Kevin Owens while in India and it will be for the WWE Championship.
Jinder successfully defended his title at Hell in a Cell against Shinsuke Nakamura at Hell in a Cell. He is currently in India promoting the WWE Live Tour that is set to happen on the 8th and 9th of December in New Delhi.
Kevin Owens, on the other hand, is currently entangled in a feud with Shane McMahon after he with the help of Sami Zayn defeated the Smackdown Live Commissioner in a Hell in a Cell match. All that is expected tp be put on hold while he is in India.
The Indo-Canadian WWE Champion will put his WWE Championship on the line when he faces Kevin Owens. Jinder will have to look over his shoulder, as Owens is currently in an amazing form, and revealed his more brutal side during the feud with Shane McMahon. With Sami Zayn now firmly standing beside him, he stands a good chance of overcoming the current WWE Champion.
Mahal had expressed his wish to defend the title on Indian soil when the tour was first announced, and it appears that his wish is about to come true.
