What's the story?

This week's Christmas Day Raw saw John Cena open the show as he made his return to WWE. Cena's actions on Raw made Christmas feel even more special and magical. 

Before he addressed the crowd or did anything else, he made Christmas special for a special needs child present in the audience. He presented the fan with the T-shirt he had been wearing as well as his cap.

John Cena is known for all the charity work that he does for WWE. Cena is popular for putting in extra hours and helping people in his free time, for charities like 'Be a Star' or the Make a Wish foundation. 

Cena has transitioned to a part-time role on the roster, dedicating more time to charities and events, as well as his Hollywood films.

The heart of the matter

John Cena's appearance on Monday Night Raw was much awaited, and the star did not wait too long to make the occasion special. Cena addressed the crowd saying that there was a 'young man' present, who had the wrong coloured hat and shirt. Cena proceeded to exit the ring and gifted a young special-needs child with his own green t-shirt and cap. 

He then wished the crowd a Merry Christmas, as they started to chant Merry Christmas as well. 

What's next?

Cena is scheduled to continue to work in WWE on the Live Events this week during the holidays.

Cena has a certain charisma about him and helps to make other's lives better. No one works harder than Cena or is more dedicated than him when it comes to charities. Despite his lack of involvement in storylines at the moment, anytime Cena appears he makes the event more special with his presence.
